I loved this story from the moment I picked it up. It hits a couple of real-life issues – no spoilers – and includes the interesting twist of an American Civil War vet, a doctor, who inherits a title and property in England. The American/English interactions are fun, and the characters are engaging, including the secondary characters. It’s a delightful story all the way around!
Pegg Thomas lives on a hobby farm in Northern Michigan with Michael, her husband of *mumble* years. They raise sheep and chickens; keep a few barn cats, and Murphy the spoiled rotten dog.
