Of Rags and Riches Romance Collection: Nine Stories of Poverty and Opulence During the Gilded Age by Michelle Griep
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Lovely collection! One of the better that I’ve read. Delightful heroines and dashing heroes by some authors I’ve read before and some I haven’t … but will again. The contrast of wealth versus poverty and how the two brushed up against each other during American’s Gilded Age is interesting and enlightening. These stories show life as it was, not necessarily life as we think it should have been. Well worth the time/money investment for this collection.
